The TRANSiTION Project, that has been running over the last 2.5 years, aimed to develop a training curriculum, using innovative ways, in order to contribute to the advancement of digital skills of the cancer care professionals, in Europe.
The project officially closed with a central high-level event, that took place in Brussels, on the 23th of September 2025.
There, TRANSiTION Partners from around Europe met at the European Parliament to discuss how the project’s outcomes align with the current EU priorities on health innovation, resilience, and workforce development.
The main project outcomes were successfully presented, while the final recommendations to embed digital skills into national and EU workforce were launched.
A part of the session was a call for action, from policymakers, in order to guarantee a sustainable, accredited digital training in oncology.
Equally important was the connection of TRANSiTION’s results to other central EU initiatives, such as the European Health Data Space.
