SmartPLAIGO was successfully deployed today, to support the operations of the ΟΚΥπΥ (SHSO CY), during the TUI Marathon 2026, in Paphos.
The eHealth Lab group and SmartPLAIGO team, from ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence, were there, and alongside the SHSO CY Ambulance and Emergency Staff, they set up all the required equipment, close to the city’s Castle, and managed to address multiple minor injury cases, maintaining fast real-time communication.
SmartPLAIGO will be deployed again, for the XM Marathon 2026, in Limassol.
The ultimate aim is to have SmartPLAIGO permanently included into the SHSO CY process.
